After much anticipation, I am happy to say our Gangplank Jr Minecraft server is now online and ready for you to play in!
This server is setup as a whitelisted server, which means that we need your account name added to the list of approved accounts for you to have access to the server.
For parents this means that the only people on this server will be affiliated with Gangplank Jr or Gangplank and thus is a safe place for our kids to play online.
Once your username is added to the list you can connect to the server at play.gangplankmc.com.
If you do not have a Minecraft username, please go to www.minecraft.net and sign up. We are hoping to host Minecraft Hack Nights in conjunction with the regular Gangplank Hack Nights (every Wednesday from 6 p.m. – late). These Minecraft Hack Nights will hopefully take place every third Wednesday and will allow the kids to interact with other Junior players in-person and online.
We would like to give a very special thank you to Shaun of Chow Locally for his efforts on getting the server back up and running. He is very excited to give kids the opportunity to play on the Gangplank server in a safe & friendly Minecraft environment.
